Our Story

Pārekereke began when we discovered the breath-taking power and potential of working from two cultural perspectives, Since then, we have co-facilitated workshops, processes and culture change projects, weaving together the talents, gifts and insights we have been gifted by our cultures – Māori and Pākeha.

A child of the far north, my tribal affiliations are to Te Tai Tokerau iwi – Te Rarawa and Te Aupouri, and to Northern Ireland and the UK. I am driven by a passion to help groups and individuals to uncover their dreams and identify their aspirations. In my consultancy I work in partnership with groups and individuals in both the public and the NGO sectors to support their pathways to achievement.

I am a child of the northern hemisphere and was lucky enough to grow up bilingual and bicultural (Dansk) within Aotearoa. I believe we all have the right to live work and play in ways that sustain us, our communities and the planet. I apply this philosophy every day in my portfolio and consultancy work across the community development, recreation and learning and development sector.
